I always wanted to learn a foreign language, and well better late than never. I found this little gem, and it looks promising, I signed up for the 6 day free course to see, if I at all like the program. The course promise to teach me French in under 8 weeks, that seems amazing (obviously the full course, but let’s see what I learn in 6 days ). I must say that the price compared to many other programs seems very low, and this can be a good or a bad thing. But there is absolutely no way to find out expect trying it out. I will let you guys know what I think about the course when I have done the free 6 day introduction and maybe even give you a little recording of what I learned.
Ok, so I have had this cube on my table for some time. It’s been staring me down… I generally don’t play with it because it’s those really cheap cubes and every so often they fall apart. So my brother got me an authentic real rubic cube, like the ones the pro’s use.To make a really long blog post short, I just want to say that WOW it’s amazing the quality of these cubes are brilliant. It’s got some weight to it, it’s so smmmmmooooooth! and you can even pimp it some more by oiling it and putting in washers and all sort of speed cubing things. I will probably try and improve my solve time which averages at about 5 - 10 Minutes, I still sometimes turn things that shouldn’t be turned… but recover quite well.
The cube itself is not expensive at all you can pick one op for about $8-00 and is slightly addictive once you get into the swing of things. Buy your own Rubik’s Cube
Anyway so I have yet to master the cube, but let me know what your times are, and if your one of the guys which can solve it with one hand and 34 seconds, then drop me some tops too

Ok, I found that some people just don’t know how to download the videos, or have these obscene long ways & methods of getting there hands on to the videos. So here is a simple easy fail proof method to almost any online video on the net, the reason for this is every so often I find a really kewl video I want and put it in my collection folder. The specific video in mind this week can be found over at JMRPub and is all about the march of the emperor penguin… or is it?
Ok so how do we rip the video? Well it’s easy hop over to, KeepVid and simply insert the URL and select the site and click download. It will supply you with the direct urls etc, too. It’s a huge time saver and I sometimes just when I get sent a link to a video from someone I know won’t send me stupid videos I just download it without even watching it online.
Have fun & drop me a comment if you like, telling me how usefull this info was to you.
Ok, so today I decided to check out this Zazzle thing. In a nutshell Zazzle is a online merchant that let’s users create hi quality merchandise. The Merchandise can be self bought or sold, and they even offer affiliate options that will gain you some income while promoting someone else’s products. (Or even your own) I must say the user interface is extremely user friendly and slick. The only hick up was that whilst creating my templates for creating nice looking products quicker, I missed half the list of specs since the information page, is not 100% FireFox friendly. So I emailed them and got a response just a couple of minutes ago, and will sort those templates soon enough. Anyway Without further delay, I want to show you what I got up to and how awesome the affiliate links look.
I was thinking of PhotoHunters that can really use Zazzle to make awesome looking products, with all those amazing photos. I know Ill be creating a couple with my stock photos.
make custom gifts at ZazzleSo one product in specific I finished keeping fathers day in mind, was the tie. The original Microsloth tie, the perfect gift for any tech support or computer whiz… yeah some of them are dads Then the other products are just a little of my other 2d retro art that I customized for the products, also the iDENTiFY THiS pics are the logos of my web comic. I will post it up on the blog for all to view soon, I just need to finish up the website, that will be at www.identifythis.net Let me know what you guys and gals think about the products, more to come soon I promise!
I took this picture when I was in Cape Town. I think this is the only colorful one I have that just stands out, probably not the best composition but still pretty beautiful.
Yeah ok, so the whole day all I wanted to do was post on my blog, so I got a new toy… and let me enjoy it. I will however try and not have watered down content, all my post will have value and I intend to keep it like that.
I Found out EMUSIC was having a promotion, and couldn’t wait to sign up for my free 25 songs. I was quite impressed by the range of songs they had, and the price of purchasing a song once you have exhausted your 25 free songs. So if your into the whole i-pod generation or any form of digital music visit them and see if you find the service useful.
What else can you expect to see here soon? Well I joined Photo Hunters, and the link is there on the side tab if you want to find out more about it. Pretty much you get a list of themes that you, have to post a photo for that theme, for that specific week. I must say that JMRPub has had some pretty amazing photos, as for the others I have only seen one or two, but the creativity in some of the photos are pretty inspiring.
I am planning allot of activities and updates for the blog, but let me first settle in and get use to the whole blog thing.
I have rambled enough for today… (Heh just wait till tomorrow)
So it’s been a couple of hours since I finally set up my blog. I had a sort of a blog over at my old site, which I will soon be making a hop page.
Anyway I must say delving deeper into this blog thing has left me with endless choices … and then some. Luckily I have had some good advice from JMRPub who has been blogging for quite some time now. He introduced me to a really cool plugin called ubernyms. All this does is create all these really kewl pop ups over the words, and links then to the link you provided. Go check it out.
Todays video is one of my all time favorites, I have had this song stuck in my head for just over four years and I hope this cures me! I am still completely in love with the animation style. Enjoy…
So I finally got around to making my word press blog, I plan on having many fun things to look at here so watch this space. I don’t knowhow frequent the posts will be but I will try at least one a day.
I am going to update the blog, and check the widgets out soon, to make it more user friendly and I also plan on making my own more personalized theme.
